Our research has revealed a surprising correlation between the emergence of orphanages and patterns of couple relationships. This phenomenon can be traced back to the increased number of children born out of wedlock and orphans as a result of war.
Nowadays, orphanages are replaced by foster homes in Hungary. However, the same challenges related to caring for children who are deprived of the love and presence of their parents are still present across the world. “Globally, it is estimated that up to 1 billion children aged 2–17 years, have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional violence or neglect in the past year” according to an official report of WHO in 2022.
Therefore, our organization is dedicated to provide a solution that brings real relief to their everyday life wherever it is needed.
The “Glimmers Program & APP” is a method which will help the foster parents and children to find their playful method in order to protect their calmness. The program will provide a training program for the current & future foster parents; however the App helps us to protect the foster children from child abuse and create communities in order to help them heal their attachment issues.
By supporting the program, you contribute to the prevention of child abuse, especially in foster care networks, so that all children can discover themselves in a safe and loving environment.
With the app, we’re also creating a safe space in the cyber world for all the little ones and grown-ups in the foster network.
